This morning I ran a 2 mile warmup, 5x500 meter dirt hill repeats, 4x300 progressive track finishes w/100 meter walk, then a 1 mile cool down. I hit 1:44, 1:43, 1:43, 1:42, 1:50. I felt kinda flat today, but I forgot to take my iron during scout camp so I think if I just get more sleep and take the iron I'll be ready to go. Mainly good stuff this morning!

3 easy in the afternoon, no watch, on the Canal Trail. My caren is still there at the turnaround point so that was sweet.

This morning I ran 7.5 miles easy w/8x100 meter striders, we ran an extended loop around Webb Hill. Felt good, had fun during kids camp, and then ran 3 miles easy with Caden around 3:00. If I pass my test I can get my license tomorrow, sweet!

This morning I ran a 2.5 mile warmup, strides, 20 minute tempo w/4 minute faster finish on the track, then a 2 mile cool down. My goal pace was 5:45, but I didn't look at my watch until 18:56 into it. My Garmin splits aren't lined up exactly with the track because I know I hit the first mile at 5:45, but it has my splits at: 5:42, 5:38, 5:38 (locked in right now), then 3:05 for the last .57(5:25). 5:37 average for 20:04. I felt good, stayed relaxed during it, and it was pretty sweet. Also thanks to Coach for running side by side with me for most of it.

Then in the afternoon I got my license, got my iron tested and it's at 33.6, which was described as basically running on the edge of a cliff of a big drop in performance. So now I'll be following the liquid iron protocol in the BYU XC handbook I got at the camp because it gradually raises the iron dosage to double what I've been taking. And I ran 3 miles.

This morning I ran 8 miles easy on the Barrel Roll trail. Felt good, and it rained a little when I drove to practice. Stay off the roads haha.

Then in the afternoon I ran 3 miles easy with Joe. Survived the inferno, it was hot!

This morning I did a 2 mile warmup, 3x3:00 w/3:00 recovery, 4x:30 w/:30 recovery, then 3x3:00 w/3:00 recovery. Then a short cool down to hit the mileage. I was kinda worried going into this workout, but I stuck with the front guys so that was sweet. Me and Sage duked it out on the last one, that was awesome I want to race. Then we aquajogged at Bryson's house later. Good stuff.

This morning I ran 10.25 miles easy over by Little Black Mountain. We ran in the secret canyon and saw some petroglyphs after so that was sweet.
